If you’re like me…you may become obsessive with staying on the custom hardware thread in bitcointalk…or perhaps you comb the alt-coin section on the site. I have to tell you… Please Keep Calm…& Carry On! I had a moment of clarity where I just needed to remind myself that “yes….the sky….could…..be falling.” Although it probably, for all intensive purposes…is not.
I know that seeing the same sets of words over and over again…emotionally driven words and acronyms such as “DIFFICULTY, ROI, NRE, PREORDER, SCAMCOIN, WILL I EVER, WHAT SHOULD” all resonate a bad feeling in my gut when perusing the posts. A lot of times, it feels like a personal blow that I, myself, would go through the efforts to learn as much as I could and then only choose to ask once no answer could be located after several searches in multiple sources. Often times, reading the same questions over and over in the same sections of hardware forums or alt-coin forums would cause me frustration because of said above gripes.
After a point I felt myself spiral into a fake sense of power with the “coup de ignore” button. Turning those dastardly ignore links bright yellow with spite….however this bliss is but temporary by virtue of the fact that I can still witness stupidity from new users, and quoted replies on ignored users. Damnit those dastardly quotes! Furthermore, its like an influx of new folken who…rather than sit to learn it whether it be in the newbies section or on bitcoin.stackexchange.com…but alas….I’ve overstepped my soapbox.
